Poppys Collection is an online boutique destination for artisan babywear, accessories, and toys with enduring quality and design. Poppys was launched in the fall of 2016 by a young entrepreneur, Kathryn: a stylish aunt who found herself on a never-ending search for baby gifts that would stand out.

Turning a vision into a business

Kathryn knew that by hand-picking the best in artisan baby goods and providing a curated online shopping experience, Poppys would solve baby gifting for countless busy and fashionable women. The challenge was – while existing only in an online space – to reach consumers who benefit from Poppys and to build an online community that backs up the brand. Poppys partnered with Sage Wow to develop striking marketing collateral and a brand-building social media marketing campaign.

With a target audience of women ages 30-55+, Facebook was a clear choice for Poppys Collection’s online community. We developed a Facebook marketing strategy and created original, eye-catching content to deliver in a highly targeted and engaging Facebook advertising campaign focused on three content pillars: lifestyle, brand story, and product education.

Building off the aesthetic of the Poppys Collection website, we helped launch the boutique and develop the look-and-feel of the brand by creating a press kit, press release, look book, and media gifts that were well-received by 100+ key Canadian media contacts.
